What is the Ghostern Privacy Policy?
The Ghostern Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data when you use our free gaming tools and generators. We operate on a privacy-first model. Unlike many web platforms, our calculators and font generators process data directly in your browser via JavaScript. We do not require user accounts, and we do not store the specific stats, text, or build dimensions you input into our tools on our servers.
Case Study: Building Privacy-First Gaming Tools
In my experience developing these tools, I specifically chose a local-processing architecture to protect user privacy. When building the Elden Ring Weapon Calculator and Minecraft Build Planner, I refused to implement a database that stored user inputs.
According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) [1], data minimization is a core principle of privacy by design. By using local storage and client-side JavaScript, your Elden Ring stats and Minecraft blueprints never leave your device. This ensures 100% privacy and allows our tools to load instantly without server lag.
